Energy Performance Certificates (EPCS) for Sales
The Home Information Pack (HIP) has been suspended with effect from 21st May 2010. However, it is still a legal requirement to have an Energy Performance Certificate commissioned prior to the marketing of any property. The EPC must then be completed and in place within 28 days of the property being placed on the market.
Bidwells are able to provide you with an EPC for you as we employ a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.
Energy Performance Certificates for Lettings
It is now a legal requirement that upon marketing a residential property to let an Energy Performance Certificate must be available for prospective tenants to assess the efficiency of the home. Bidwells employ a Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor so we can carryout the EPC inspection without undue delay.
